Job summary

APCOA PARKING UK in Athlone is hiring a Clamping Enforcement Officer to patrol outdoor sites, enforce parking restrictions, and advise the public on clamping and fines. The role is 40 hours per week and outdoors, requiring a full manual driving licence.

You will provide excellent customer care, communicate clearly, and follow the code of practice while helping keep car parks compliant and safe. Training will be provided, including a two-week training period.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 and hold a full manual driving licence with 2 years driving experience.
• Excellent customer care and communication skills for public interactions.
• Ability to enforce parking regulations and advise the public on the code of practice.

Responsibilities

• Patrol car parks to enforce parking restrictions and advise the public on penalties.
• Ensure car parks are compliant and maintain public safety while representing the client.

The Role

Clamping Enforcement Officer - Basic Salary €14.15 per hour + generous commission - Athlone - 40 hours per week

This is a customer focused role so no two days will be the same. You will undertake patrols, enforcing and advising on parking restrictions and give advice regarding clamping and fines to the general public. It's an important part of keeping car parks compliant, ensuring public safety, and conveying a specialist service to our clients. Therefore, excellent customer care skills and being able to converse in a friendly and effective manner are essential. You will help the public become aware of the code of practice and advise them about parking. We pride ourselves on keeping our car parks clean and tidy.

You will need to be over 21 to apply and having a full manual driving licence with 2 years driving experience. This is to comply with our insurance policy, as you will be required to drive a company van. Unfortunately we are unable to accept N plate Licenses.
