Job summary

ESB Networks is seeking a Civils Construction Lead to drive civil works across the Dublin region. You will manage costs, governance, licensing, and safety while coordinating with contractors and Local Authorities to deliver PR6 programmes.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in trenching/ducting, Purple Book expertise, SAP/SharePoint familiarity, and a Level 8 Quantity Surveying degree. Based in Dublin with national travel as required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering trenching and ducting in the utility sector.
• Established relationships with Local Authorities in Dublin region.
• Proven track record delivering large trenching/ducting projects.
• Governance models to deliver cost management.
• Able to manage multiple project sites across a wide region.
• Chapter 8 Traffic Management qualification, Purple Book expert.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil construction programme across region with Contractors.
• Oversee cost governance, budgets and variation approvals.
• Coordinate with Local Authorities on licences and road open statuses.
• Ensure safety and quality procedures across projects.
• Report writing and stakeholder communications.
• Mentor staff and support professional development.
