Job summary

Dublin Port Company is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join the Programme Management Office (PMO) on a 3-year fixed-term contract. The role focuses on planning, development and delivery of major infrastructure projects to support Ireland’s busiest port.

You will manage projects from inception through handover, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure value engineering and cost control across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Requires a Civil Engineering degree with at least 5 years in civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating consulting engineering and professional services firms.
• Proven track record liaising with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering/port related projects on time and within budget from inception to handover.
• Engage with sponsors and stakeholders to define scope and deliverables.
• Determine resource requirements to deliver projects (internal and external).
• Identify, evaluate and manage project risks from inception to completion.
• Ensure robust project evaluation and cost management visibility.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including marine, civil, electrical, and planning.
