Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €40,000 - €55,000 (DOE)
Type: Full-Time | Permanent

An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing Dublin team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their career across a diverse portfolio of development and infrastructure projects, working alongside experienced civil, structural and mobility professionals on schemes throughout Ireland and internationally.
The business delivers engineering solutions across residential, mixed-use, commercial, retail, energy, data centre and infrastructure sectors, providing exposure to projects from initial feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction.

The Role

You'll play an important role in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects, supporting the design and coordination of drainage, roads and development infrastructure schemes across a wide variety of sectors.
The position will involve preparing drainage strategies, detailed drainage designs and infrastructure reports while working closely with clients, architects, planners, local authorities and multidisciplinary design teams.
Projects range from residential and mixed-use developments through to commercial, retail, renewable energy and rapidly growing data centre schemes, offering excellent variety and long-term technical development.
You'll also gain exposure to flood risk assessments, SuDS design, roads and levels design, planning-stage infrastructure design and construction support activities, helping deliver practical and sustainable engineering solutions.

What We're Looking For
  • Degree or Master's qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience within a civil infrastructure or development engineering role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Experience in drainage and infrastructure design, including surface water and foul water networks for development projects.
  • Working knowledge of Causeway Flow and drainage modelling principles.
  • Understanding of SuDS design, flood risk assessments and development infrastructure design.
  • Familiarity with Irish design standards, DMURS and Uisce Éireann requirements would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Progression towards Chartered Engineer status would be welcomed but is not essential.
Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing consultancy that combines the benefits of a collaborative local office with the backing and project exposure of a well-established international engineering group.
You'll work on a broad range of technically interesting projects across residential, commercial, energy, infrastructure and data centre sectors while receiving strong support for professional development and Chartership.
