Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland invites applications for a Level 8 Civil Engineering Apprenticeship beginning September 2026. The programme spans four years with on‑the‑job learning, labs, and campus sessions in conjunction with SOLAS and ATU Sligo.

Successful apprentices receive mentorship, hands‑on project exposure, and training across design, drawings, and reports, supported by a dedicated mentor and a hybrid learning approach.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 (Leaving Certificate or equivalent).
• Maths at H4 level.
• H5 in one other subject.
• O6/H7 in four other subjects, one must be a lab science.
• English or Irish language ability.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in designing and delivering projects.
• Assist to ensure effective project delivery.
• Attend site visits / surveys under supervision.
• Prepare designs using modelling software.
• Prepare drawings and reports.
• Adhere to health and safety legislation.
