Enexa Partners seeks a Project Engineer – Civil Engineering to support a major 44 km+ greenway and related infrastructure projects in Ireland. The role covers development through operation, with hybrid working (three days from home, two days in office) in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in large-scale civil delivery, plus a degree in Engineering or related field and strong governance/reporting skills. PMO and cross‑functional collaboration experience are prized.

In partnership with our client is a large Irish Semi‑State Organisation, headquartered in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, has evolved into a modern Climate‑Action Enterprise. They now focuses on Renewable Energy Development, rehabilitation, waste and resource recovery, and Large‑Scale Environmental Restoration projects. Their mission centres on supporting Ireland’s transition to a Climate‑Neutral Economy by 2050 through Clean‑Energy Solutions, Biodiversity Regeneration, and Sustainable Land Management.
They are hiring a Project Engineer. The Project Engineer within the PMO supports the delivery of Civil Engineering / Infrastructure and Public Good projects across all phases, from Development through to Operation.
They are also currently delivering one of Ireland’s Largest Public‑Good Infrastructure Programmes: a multi‑county network of 44 km+ Greenways and Recreational Trails across former peatlands. These projects are funded through the EU Just Transition Fund and are designed to repurpose industrial bog infrastructure into Public Amenities / Areas, biodiversity corridors, and tourism assets. They will be converting old Rail, Roads, Drainage / Culverts, and headlands into Walking / Cycling routes. These are part of a strategic Midlands Trail Network spanning Offaly, Westmeath, Longford, Laois, Tipperary, Roscommon, and Kildare.
The successful candidate will assist with Project Planning, Scheduling, Budget Tracking, Governance, Procurement Activities, Regulatory Compliance, Stakeholder Engagement and project reporting, ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed timelines and standards.
Working under the guidance of Project Managers and the PMO, the role ensures project activities progress according to schedule, budget, and governance standards, contributing to the company’s low-carbon and renewable energy goals.
