Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Civil Engineer in Limerick with 5-7+ years’ consultancy experience. The role covers civil infrastructure design and project management across Ireland and overseas, reporting to the Civil Team Lead and delivering planning, tender and construction documents in line with ISO 9001.

You will join a well-established Irish engineering practice, working in a multi-disciplinary environment with hybrid working and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years’ experience in civil/structural consultancy.
• Experience with planning and construction document prep.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a multi-disciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil infrastructure designs for Ireland and overseas.

Role:

• The successful Civil Engineer will be responsible for the civil infrastructure design and project management for a range of projects in Ireland and oversea (Residential, Commercial, Healthcare and Industrial)
• You will be reporting to the Civil Teams Lead with the support of the engineering team.
• As Civil Engineer you will be responsible for the preparation of planning, tender and construction documents in accordance with company ISO 9001 procedures.

Requirements:

• Level 8 / 9 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• The successful Civil Engineer must have 5-7+ years’ experience working within a consultancy in design.
• An ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment and an ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience would be desirable. Windes/Microdrainage experience would be desirable
• The successful Civil Engineer should have a range of project experience and be familiar working in compliance with ISO 9001.
• Possess good technical and communication skills.
