Tetra Tech is looking for Civil Design Engineers to join us in shaping the future of water sector infrastructure. Positions available in Dublin, Cork, or Galway.
Join a team delivering some of Ireland’s most important water infrastructure projects and play a hands‑on role in shaping safe, resilient and sustainable critical infrastructure assets. We are looking for technically confident civil engineers ranging in experience from a minimum of 3 years to 10+ years. This role offers the opportunity to influence large‑scale, long‑term programmes, work with multidisciplinary teams on high‑impact projects, and progress your career through meaningful technical responsibility and chartership support.
Tetra Tech is delivering a significant portfolio of water infrastructure projects that are critical for regional and national water delivery. The successful candidates will have a hands‑on role in the design and delivery of water infrastructure across a broad range of projects.
In the short term, you will establish strong control over live projects, build trusted relationships with clients and delivery partners, and quickly add value through robust planning and clear reporting.
In the medium term, you will help drive consistency across delivery, improve project controls, and support the successful progression of significant water sector investment programmes.
In the longer term, this role offers the chance to broaden your experience across major infrastructure delivery, develop deeper client‑side expertise, and progress into more senior roles.
The role is based in Dublin, Cork or Galway, with hybrid working and agile office arrangements. Office attendance will be balanced to meet project and client needs while supporting flexible working for work‑life balance. Travel to client sites, planning authority meetings and project locations across Ireland will be required on an occasional basis.
In alignment with the Equality Act 2010, we will make reasonable adjustments to support candidates and employees requiring additional arrangements. This could include adaptations to work schedules, training approaches, or the physical workspace. Please inform us if you need any accommodations during the recruitment process or in your day‑to‑day role.
