Job summary

Clifton Scannell Emerson Associates (CSEA) in Ireland seeks a motivated Civil Engineer to delivery urban infrastructure and active travel projects with a collaborative team.

You will work across feasibility, preliminary and detailed design phases, engaging with stakeholders and local authorities. Hybrid working, ongoing CPD, and mentoring are supported as part of our practice.

Proactive problem-solvers with at least 5 years’ experience and a Degree in Civil Engineering are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience working on civil projects, preferably urban/active travel.
• Degree in Civil Engineering and familiarity with Irish design standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; AutoCAD Civil 3D is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of civil engineering design for urban and active travel schemes.
• Design through feasibility, preliminary, detailed design and construction.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications per Irish standards.
• Coordinate with landscape and structural teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders during approvals.
• Support project planning and scheduling.
• Mentor juniors and contribute to knowledge sharing.
