Realtime Recruitment is seeking an experienced Cisco Network Engineer to provide day-to-day operational support across DCC/DETE Cisco network environments. You will work with ICT teams, assist with incident resolution, and contribute to network projects.

Ideal candidates have strong Cisco networking knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting, and experience in enterprise networks with ITIL/service management and SLAs. Collaboration with technical stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Cisco networking knowledge and practical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Understanding of network technologies, protocols, routing, switching, and network security.
• Proven experience in incident resolution and technical escalation management.
• Experience working within ITIL/service management processes and agreed SLAs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Methodical approach to technical documentation and record keeping.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support across the Cisco network environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents in line with service targets and SLAs.
• Act as a key technical contact for ICT teams on Cisco matters.
• Support delivery of network infrastructure projects, upgrades, changes and improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues and escalate when required.
• Manage technical escalations to Cisco, ensuring documentation and resolution.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, procedures, and records.
• Collaborate with ICT teams and stakeholders to ensure service delivery.
• Follow change, incident, problem, and service management processes.
• Ensure activities meet operational procedures, targets, and security requirements.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement, resilience, and performance of the network.
