Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is seeking a Recruitment Officer to manage end-to-end recruitment for Home Care Assistants across the CHO8 region, based in Drogheda with regular travel. You will collaborate with Business Managers, HR and Compliance to attract, recruit and onboard high-quality staff.

Ideal candidates bring recruitment experience in home care, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while meeting targets.

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience, ideally within the home care or healthcare sector.
• Experience working within home care and a strong understanding of the sector.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• An understanding of recruitment compliance and onboarding requirements within home care.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet recruitment targets.
• A proactive approach to recruitment and the ability to build strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Home Care Assistants across the CHO8 region.
• Advertise vacancies, screen applications and conduct interviews.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of suitable candidates.
• Work closely with Business Managers to identify recruitment needs and support business growth.
• Liaise with the Compliance team to ensure candidates progress efficiently through onboarding.
• Coordinate recruitment events, job fairs and community recruitment initiatives.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment trackers.
• Develop local recruitment strategies to attract Home Care Assistants across the region.
• Support recruitment activity across other Right at Home offices when required.
