Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is seeking Health Care Assistants to support clients in Dunboyne and surrounding areas. The role offers pay rates from €15 to €17 per hour with flexible working arrangements and progression opportunities.

Applicants should have QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills and Care for the Older Person, a valid Moving & Handling certificate, and, where applicable, police clearance. A driving licence is desirable for community-based work.

Qualifications

• Minimum two QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
• Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training available).
• International Police Clearance, where applicable.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport desirable due to community-based role.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and practical care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Support client independence and social engagement.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties.
• Maintain dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Report concerns, incidents or changes to management in line with procedures.

Qualifications & Training Requirements
