Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting Social Care Workers for a Children’s Residential Service in Dublin City & County. Based in a community residential setting, you’ll care for children up to 18 years old, with shifts including days and overnights.

The role centers on implementing care plans while safeguarding the welfare of each young person. The successful candidate should hold a CORU recognized qualification or be Coru registered, have experience with young people or residential settings, and

Qualifications

• A CORU recognized Social Care qualification or full Coru registration.
• Ideally some experience working with young people or residential experience.
• Full clean manual driving licence and access to a car.
• Experience working with challenging behaviors and an understanding of therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans
• Promoting the rights and responsibilities of each child/young person within the centre
• Promoting physical, emotional, social, educational, and religious welfare of each young person
• Family and other service liaison
• Adhering to policies and procedures
• Report Writing and documentation
• To attend regular supervision with the Social Care Leader / Manager
