Job summary

Early Childhood Ireland—Douglas Community Preschool in Ireland is seeking Preschool Practitioners and a Room Leader to join our friendly team. You will plan engaging, play-based learning experiences and support children's development in a warm, welcoming environment.

Successful candidates will hold a recognised Early Childhood Care and Education/Childcare qualification, know Aistear and Síolta, and be caring, patient, dependable and enthusiastic.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Early Childhood Care and Education/Childcare qualification appropriate to the role.
• Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta.

The Role

You will help create a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment where every child feels happy, safe and supported.

You will:

• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence and independence
• Observe children’s interests and use these to support planning and learning

We’re looking for someone who:

Pay in line with the applicable ERO rate
