Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) is Ireland's national public-service media organisation. The Opportunity

RTÉ is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief People Officer to continue to drive transformation across the organisation through innovative HR Practices.

Reporting into the Director General of RTÉ, and as a key member of the RTE Leadership Team, the Chief People Officer influences business strategy and fosters a high-performance culture. Their responsibilities include:

• Act as a strategic advisor to the Leadership Team on all people-related matters.
• Lead HR transformation initiatives aligned with RTÉ's strategic goals.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute strategic workforce planning.
• Maintain strong relationships with trade unions and employee representatives.
• Champion a values-driven culture that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

RTÉ welcome applications from candidates who possess:

• At least 10 years in a senior leadership role in a complex, significantly sized organisation.
• Appreciation of complex employee relations environments with unionised colleagues.
• Proven track record of successful HR strategy implementation and change management, analysis, and reporting.
• Proven commercial acumen and linking HR strategy to business strategies
• Understanding of compensation, benefits, and employee engagement.
• Ability to influence and challenge others at all levels in an organisation.
• Effective at developing and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
