We\'re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Chief People, Culture & Belonging Officer to join our dynamic P&C team, where people, culture, and organisational excellence shapes everything we do.

About the Role: As the Chief, People, Culture & Belonging Officer, you will lead Acquired Brain Injury Ireland’s commitment to a value-driven, inclusive culture. You will champion wellbeing, learning, and empowerment across the organisation. Partnering with the CEO and the Board, you will drive strategic transformation and cultural sustainability. At the core of the role, you will create the conditions for people to thrive in delivering person-centred rehabilitation.

The contract available is Permanent, Full-Time, 35 hours.
The role will be based in our National Office in Dun Laoghaire with a Hybrid working model.
The salary will be available on request.

What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Shape and deliver a People, Culture & Belonging strategy that empowers colleagues and aligns with ABI Ireland’s vision.
  • Partner with the CEO, Board, and senior leaders to build future-ready, inclusive, and high-performing teams.
  • Lead a dynamic People & Culture function that drives innovation, engagement, and organisational resilience.
  • Champion employee voice, wellbeing, and belonging – ensuring every colleague feels valued and supported.
  • Foster culture of continuous learning, leadership development, and person-centred service excellence.
  • Ensure people systems, policies, and analytics are agile, compliant, and enable smart decision-making.
  • Drive change and transformation through digital innovation, strategic foresight, and collaborative design.
  • Act as a trusted advisor – building leadership capability and co-creating solutions for a thriving workforce.

Must Haves
  • Relevant HR, organisational development, or strategy qualification
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent Essential Experience
  • Proven success as a senior leader (equivalent to Director/ Chief Officer level), driving People & Culture strategy in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Track record of shaping organisational strategy, culture transformation, and embedding belonging at scale
  • Strong background in organisational design, workforce planning, change leadership, and strategic HR projects
  • Demonstrated success in employee engagement, culture transformation, inclusive leadership, and digital transformation
  • Experience with HRIS, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, and governance.
