Job summary

VANRATH is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to steer the operational heartbeat of a Europe‑facing sovereign AI infrastructure platform. The role leads governance, recruitment, HR, procurement, and cross‑functional coordination from a Dublin city‑centre office with a limited hybrid setup.

As a senior leader you will manage budgets, external counsel, investor relations, and data centre project plans, ensuring risk is identified early and growth remains on track.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations, programme or general management, preferably within a high-growth scale-up tech environment.
  • Strong strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills and commercial judgement.
  • Capable of managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and external service providers.
  • Calm, resilient, and able to thrive under pressure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Based in Dublin with the ability to work primarily from the city-centre office.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the management cadence: meetings, scorecards, decision logs, and action tracking.
  • Oversee HR processes through an external partner, including onboarding and policy compliance.
  • Drive recruitment end-to-end, ensuring hiring plans are met with quality candidates.
  • Manage company governance, legal projects, and investor relations in coordination with external counsel.
  • Partner with finance on budgets, procurement, and operational planning.
  • Coordinate office facilities, events, and vendor relationships to support company growth.
  • Maintain an integrated plan for data centre projects, funding rounds, and certifications, identifying and escalating risks early.
