We are seeking an experienced and strategic financial services professional to lead the EU entity of a fast-growing, FCA and CBI-regulated FX fintech firm. The CEO will be responsible for overseeing regional growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening the firm’s presence within the EU. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic, customer-centric business at the forefront of financial innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold Key Leadership Roles: Serve as PCF-1 (Executive Director), PCF-5 (Chair of the Risk Committee), PCF-8 (Chief Executive Officer), and PCF-42 (Chief Operating Officer), ensuring strong governance and regulatory accountability.
  • Strategic Leadership & Business Planning: Monitor company performance against the Business Plan and provide strategic direction to support long-term growth.
  • Financial & Risk Oversight: Oversee financial performance, manage the firm’s risk profile, and ensure full compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Outsourcing Governance: Lead executive oversight of all outsourced functions, including intra-group outsourcing arrangements.
  • Market Development & Sales Growth: Promote business development in Ireland, support sales efforts, and drive new client acquisition.
  • Resource Management: Ensure adequate human, financial, and material resources are in place for efficient and effective operations.
  • Stakeholder Representation: Represent the firm at key events, industry forums, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and influence.
Key Requirements
  • Industry Expertise & Regulatory Knowledge: Possess substantial experience and qualifications in financial services, with a deep understanding of the sector and its regulatory environment.
  • Fitness and Probity Standards: Meet the Central Bank of Ireland’s “fit and proper” requirements, demonstrating integrity, competence, and financial soundness.
  • Strategic, Governance & Risk Oversight: Provide effective oversight of the regulated entity, ensuring robust governance structures, risk management frameworks, and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Financial Stability: Ensure full compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintain the firm’s capital, liquidity, and overall financial resilience.
  • Stakeholder & Board Engagement: Communicate effectively with regulators, board members, and customers, while supporting informed decision-making and strong governance.
  • Ethical Culture & Professional Development: Promote a culture of ethics, professionalism, and accountability, while committing to continuous learning and development.
