Job summary

Beaumont Hospital in Dublin is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversee the hospital's performance and resources within policy directions. The CEO will drive the 5 Year Strategic Plan (2025 - 2030), foster patient-centred care, promote innovation, and lead the Executive Management Team across education, research and clinical excellence.

This permanent wholetime role requires collaboration with HSE and health authorities and a commitment to public service

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for strategic growth initiatives and the overall leadership, management, functioning and performance of Beaumont Hospital, and its related services and resources, within policy directions laid down by the Hospital Board, the Department of Health/HSE, and within the provisions of the Beaumont Hospital Board (Establishment) Orders, to deliver effective and efficient patient care.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for providing strategic oversight, support, and clear leadership to the Executive Management Team within Beaumont Hospital. The Hospital is in the process of implementing its new 5 Year Strategic Plan (2025 - 2030). With a passion and commitment to delivering operational excellence, the successful candidate will implement the agreed vision for the future of Beaumont Hospital, maintain the Hospital's commitment to delivering patient-centred care to the highest standards of clinical practice, healthcare education, research, and innovation, and promote an organisational culture that is open to, and empowers innovation, creativity and learning in a clinical setting.
