Job summary

Compass Group Ireland is recruiting an ambitious Chef on a full-time basis contracted to 39 hours per week. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers, within a market-leading UK and Ireland food service group.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, a Food Hygiene certificate, and experience supervising a team. Flexibility and a passion for exceptional service are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Hold a valid Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing Compass Group Ireland and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning and hygiene compliance.
