Job summary

Aramark Wicklow is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team and take ownership of your kitchen section while delivering exceptional food experiences.

You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and service, while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the kitchen, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to menu development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Chef de Partie or senior chef in a professional kitchen.
• High standards of food quality, presentation and service.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene with certification.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with cost control and waste minimization.

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to high standards reflecting our commitment to excellence.
• Manage and oversee your designated kitchen section for organization and efficiency.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily operations and decisions.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Implement rigorous food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Assist with stock control, rotation, and ordering to minimize waste.
• Lead and mentor junior team members to foster a collaborative kitchen.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace.
• Contribute ideas to menu development and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate flexibility to changing kitchen demands.

• Manage and oversee your designated kitchen section, maintaining organization and efficiency at all times
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and strategic decision-making
• Ensure strict adherence to food quality, presentation, and portion control standards across all dishes
• Implement and maintain rigorous food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures
• Assist with stock control, stock rotation, and ordering processes while minimizing food waste and controlling costs
• Lead, mentor, and support junior kitchen team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive kitchen environment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen workspace that promotes efficiency and team morale
• Contribute creative ideas to menu development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in responding to changing kitchen demands and business needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar senior chef role within a professional kitchen
• Strong culinary skills with a genuine passion for food and commitment to quality
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards with relevant certification
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and calmly in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities with the ability to support and develop junior team members
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a positive, inclusive attitude
• Proficiency in portion control, cost management, and waste minimization practices
• Experience with stock control, rotation, and ordering processes
