Job summary

University of Galway - Full time is seeking a Chef to join Sodexo in a full-time capacity. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students and staff, ensuring menus meet dietary guidelines while creating a welcoming atmosphere at mealtimes.

With an emphasis on hygiene, allergen awareness and ongoing recipe development, you will contribute to a positive meal-time culture and bring new ideas to the table to enhance service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in a volume setting.
• Professional cookery or culinary qualifications.
• Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest food safety, hygiene standards and allergen awareness.
