Children’s Health Ireland is seeking a Decontamination Support role.

The post involves assisting in the production of sterilised medical devices for use in clinical areas, including the Medical Decontamination Unit. Training and instruction will be provided on site, with strict confidentiality regarding patient information.

Qualifications

  • Has successfully passed the Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Decontamination setting.
  • Knowledge of HSE Standards and Recommended Practices for Central Decontamination/Endoscopy Units.
  • Candidates must hold a current Decontamination certificate and submit a copy with the application.
