Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing in Dungarvan is seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Molecular Cell Biology Team. The role focuses on quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products to ensure adherence to predefined quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include routine and non-routine analyses, timely completion of test records, participation in root cause analysis, and training colleagues as needed. Occasional weekend and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in molecular cell biology or related scientific discipline with strong laboratory skills.
• Experience in GMP environments and cell-based potency assays is desirable.
• Excellent documentation and data integrity practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.
• Perform routine and non-routine analyses with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete test records in compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis and exception reporting.
• Provide training to colleagues and cover for team members as needed.
• Work weekend rota, overtime, and on-call/call-out schedules.
