Blackrock Health Group is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for the Cath Lab on a permanent, full-time basis, 39 hours per week. You will work under the supervision of the CNM/Staff Nurse and rotate across shifts to support patient care.

You will assist with daily living activities, maintain clean and safe wards, handle equipment, move patients as needed, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure compassionate care.

Formación

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Flexibility in work practices required.

Responsabilidades

• Work under the supervision of the CNM/Staff Nurse.
• Perform duties under supervision and rotate with other staff.
• Deliver practical nursing care assistance.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Maintain a clean and safe ward environment.
• Assist in moving equipment and beds as needed.
• Handle disposal of clinical waste per hospital policy.
• Escort patients within or outside the hospital when necessary.
• Prepare bed areas for new patients.
• Assist with keeping patient property secure and documented.
