Overview

We are seeking a Catering Assistant for an immediate start at Goatstown Educate Together Secondary School. Food Village is an Irish school meals provider focused on fresh, nutritious meals, sustainability, and a digital ordering system for schools nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Check deliveries, including food temperatures
• Preparation and maintenance of service areas
• Maintain/clean service stations and rotate stock
• Load and unload service ovens
• Food and drink service
• Clean tables and dining areas
• Adhere to HACCP procedures
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Job Details

• Role: Part-time, Mon - Fri (School term only)
• No prior experience required
• Full training provided; HACCP Level 1 & 2, Manual Handling and Tusla Training
• Must be able to pass Garda vetting (Irish legal requirement when working with children)
• Pay rate: €13.50 per hour
• Hours: 10-15 hrs per week guaranteed
