Job summary

Elite Talent Hub Recruitment is hiring an experienced Category C Truck Driver in Limerick for a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role. You will carry out nationwide deliveries of hardwood, timber and sheet materials and manage longer-distance routes with fewer daily drops.

The job emphasizes safety, load security, daily vehicle checks, and professional customer communication. No forklift on vehicle; no overnight stays; minimum 50 hours per week. Flexible start times and competitive rates are offered.

Qualifications

Valid Category C driving licence, CPC and Driver Card.
Experience driving professionally on long-haul routes.
Willingness to work nationwide with no overnight stays.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Good communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

Carry out nationwide deliveries of hardwood, timber and sheet materials.
Complete longer-distance delivery routes with fewer drops.
Ensure goods are transported safely and securely.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
Ensure loads are secured before departure.
Complete delivery documentation accurately.
Communicate professionally with customers and transport/operations team.
Follow routes while managing driving and working hours.
Comply with Road Safety Authority requirements, tachograph regulations and working-time rules.
Maintain a professional standard when representing the company at customer sites.
