Job Description

Kilgobbin Castel Holdings T/A Insulex requires multiple Carpenters for their premises at Kilgobbin Castle, Kilgobbin, Ballinadee, Co. Cork Ireland. The salary range starts from €34,000 (16.77/hr) to €54,000 (26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.

• Responsibilities
  • Window and Door Installation: Removal and fitting of uPVC windows and doors, removal and fitting of composite doors, fitting of Velux windows.
  • Roofing and Ventilation: Fitting of roof vents, installation of fascia, soffit, and downpipes (including removal of existing), and boxing of Ventilation pipes.
  • Internal Works: Creating stud work and fitting internal insulation, fitting windowboards, cutting and fitting internal doors.
  • Other: Performing other related carpentry works as required.

• Requirements
  • Proven experience as a qualified Carpenter, with a strong background in residential construction.
  • Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and building regulations.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's licence essential.
  • Applicants must have a good command of the English language.
