We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to work alongside the local Tidy Towns committee and help keep the village tidy, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors. The role involves carrying out a variety of outdoor tasks to ensure the upkeep of public areas and facilities.

Duties
  • Carry out regular grounds maintenance, including strimming, weeding, spraying, grass cutting, planting, and hedge cutting.
  • Maintain and repair village paths to ensure safe access for pedestrians.
  • Undertake general upkeep tasks such as painting, fencing repairs, and small maintenance jobs.
  • Monitor the condition of public areas and report any hazards or issues promptly.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure work is carried out safely for both staff and the public.
  • Assist with seasonal and ad hoc maintenance projects as required.
