Urlingford Community Centre require a Building Caretaker/Groundskeeper

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Building Care & Maintenance
    • Open and lock the building as required
    • Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., changing bulbs, fixing small faults)
    • Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems
    • Report major maintenance issues to management
    • Ensure the premises are clean, safe, and well maintained
  • Grounds Maintenance
    • Sweep and keep outdoor areas tidy
    • Trim hedges and shrubs
    • Remove litter from grounds and car parks
    • Maintain outdoor bins and waste areas
  • Health & Safety
    • Carry out regular safety checks of the building and grounds
    • Identify and report hazards promptly
    • Ensure walkways and entrances are safe and accessible
    • Follow health and safety policies at all times
    • Use tools and equipment safely
  • Security Duties
    • Monitor the premises for security issues
    • Check doors, windows, and gates
    • Respond to alarm activations if required
