Job summary

The Rehab Group in Tralee, Co Kerry is seeking a Care Worker on a Specific Purpose Contract 20 hours to provide personal care within a high-support residential service. The role focuses on person-centred support, dignity and inclusion, aligned with behavioral support practices.

Candidate requirements include QQI Level 5 in Social Care, team collaboration, confidentiality, and a full clean driver's licence. The position offers a range of staff benefits and a closing date of 8 October 2026.

Qualifications

Minimum of QQI Level 5 in Social Care, or equivalent.
To be able to work effectively in a team providing person centered support for service users.
To be able to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of service users at all times.
Full Clean Drivers Licence.

Promote and actively get involved in teamwork, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the service user.
Facilitate and implement a person centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes and requirements of service users.
