Cheshire Ireland is seeking a Care Support Worker for a permanent part-time role at Cheshire Community Living Services in Sandymount, Dublin. The 2 pm–6 pm shifts form a 24/7 roster across 5 afternoons in a fortnight, with annual pro-rata pay from €34,782.69 to €40,418.19 based on experience.
You will support adults with disabilities in private homes and community settings, delivering person-centred care while driving to work.

Hold or be in the process of undertaking a minimum of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or a minimum of QQI Level 6 Social Care or a Nursing qualification.
Have experience in supporting people with disabilities.
Candidates who have experience and no qualifications may be hired if they are willing to undertake and complete QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support within 18 months of the commencement of their role.
Hold or be working towards gaining a Full Manual Driving license and willingness to drive for work.
The role requires availability to work all shifts across a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week roster.

Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
Good Standard of verbal and written English.
Computer literate (experience with online care management systems an advantage).

This role is part-time. Hours are 2 pm to 6 pm, 5 afternoons in one fortnight,
Week one: Thursday and Friday, 2 pm to 6 pm (subject to change)
Week two: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 2 pm to 6 pm (subject to change)
Also cover Annual leave; sick days may also be required (once available)

The level of support is determined by the service user. Practical support is offered in a range of areas such as home management, budgeting, shopping, cooking and accessing the community. We have been supporting people in their own homes since 2006.
