Job summary

Caremark Cork is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our established homecare team in Cork city. You will support clients at home with daily living tasks, personal care, meal preparation, and help them stay connected with the community.

We value reliability, a friendly manner, and the ability to work independently. Driving to client homes is often required; a valid driving license and access to a car are essential.

Established in Cork with over 18 years Caremark is a preferred homecare provider to the HSE. We care for elderly people in their own homes. We value all our staff and are dedicated to their wellbeing.

We are recruiting for both Full and part time positions. Week work and weekend work.

It is considered essential that carers possess the following qualities:

• Self motivated & well organised.

  • Flexible.

  • Caring & sensitive to the needs of others.

  • Ability to use own initiative.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.

All we need from you is;

• Full healthcare Award or two modules completed which are Care Skills and Care of the Older Person or

• Personal experience in care with the desire to complete the two modules above.

• Drive and have access to a car.
