Job summary

Lotus Care Services in the Midlands region is seeking a proactive manager to lead and support staff delivering high-quality services to people with intellectual disabilities. You will oversee Personal Plans, review progress, and coordinate with families and partner organisations.

The role requires CORU registration progress, Level 7 qualification in Social Care, at least 3 years in a supervisory role, and strong knowledge of HIQA standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the ID sector.
• Level 7 degree in Social Care or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a management/supervisory role.
• In the process of CORU registration.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
• Garda Vetting/Police Clearance.
• Applicants must hold a valid work permit with the right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff in delivering high-quality services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Oversee and implement each person's Personal Plan through regular reviews.
• Liaise with families, schools, and day programme staff to ensure continuity of support.
• Support the PIC in ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations and standards.
• Ensure delivery of person-centred care and support for daily living activities.
• Manage key operational areas including safety, risk, finances, transport and rosters.
• Provide leadership, supervision and performance management for assigned staff.
• Support staff development through training and reviews.
• Keep records and databases up to date and monitor auditing processes.
• Act as a point of contact for the service to address queries promptly.
