Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacy technician with registration in good standing.
• Experience in care home pharmacy is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and medication orders accurately for verification by a pharmacist.
• Manage designated care home accounts and ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Build professional relationships with pharmacists, GPs, nurses and care home staff.
• Operate dispensing systems (McLernons, MPS or equivalent) and ensure accurate data entry.
• Maintain patient, prescription and medication records with confidentiality and compliance.
• Support stock management, inventory control and expiry monitoring.
• Adhere to SOPs and regulatory standards within a regulated pharmacy environment.
• Assist with day-to-day dispensary operations and team support.
• Respond to pharmacy-related queries promptly and professionally.
