Job summary

A community service organization in Ireland is seeking individuals to assist members with varying physical and sensory impairments. No prior experience is necessary as training, including QQI Level 5, will be provided. Duties range from supporting daily activities to providing personal care and helping with transportation. Successful candidates will undergo Garda vetting and must be ready to assist during mealtime and outings.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 training will be provided, along with health and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Assist service members with physical, sensory impairments of different ages.
• Help deliver services for personal and activation programmes.
• Support daily activities, including arts and crafts.
• Aid in the safe transportation of members.
• Provide personal care where required.
• Assist during meal times.
• Join service members on holidays and outings.
