We are looking for a highly organised and compassionateOperations Support Coordinatorto help ensure quality care is delivered on time and with heart. In this fast-paced, rewarding role, you'll coordinate schedules for care assistants, ensuring every client receives the support they need to remain safe and comfortable in their own home.

Start Date:Immediate

Job Type:Full-Time, Permanent

Location:Preferably Waterford City (Kilkenny City also considered)

Working Hours:40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays)

Indicative shifts: 7:00-15:30 or 9:00-17:30

Bonus:Performance-based bonus available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and allocate care assistants efficiently based on availability, skillset, and client preferences
  • Manage staffing for new client referrals and changes to existing care plans
  • Monitor rotas, ensuring coverage for holidays, sick leave, and emergency situations
  • Liaise with managers to ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports
  • Communicate with care staff, clients, and families with empathy and clarity
  • Support other operational duties to keep everything running smoothly

What We're Looking For:

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Clear, confident communicator with a calm, supportive manner.
  • A strong sense of empathy and commitment to high-quality care.
  • Good IT and admin skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience in scheduling, logistics, or support services an advantage.
  • Previous experience as aCare Coordinator in a Home Care setting is preferred but not essential
  • Understanding of confidentiality in care services.
  • Local area knowledge and a valid driving license preferred.
  • A third-level qualification is advantageous but not required.
