Job summary

RHS Home Care in County Galway is hiring Care Assistants to support elderly and vulnerable adults in the community. Roles are based in Tuam and Dunmore with flexible hours and relocation of travel time between calls.

Competitive rates up to €23.00 per hour, Sundays/Bank Holidays enhanced pay, and full PPE provided. Successful applicants will have QQI Level 5 in Care Skills or equivalent and must reside in Ireland with two references available.

Qualifications

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Care Skills or equivalent required.
• Must provide 2 references.
• Must reside in Ireland and be eligible to work there.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities to community clients.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and light housekeeping including changing bed linen and laundry.
• Safeguard the well-being of clients.
• Support social interactions and activities to combat loneliness and isolation in the community.

• Competitive pay rates up to €23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications — with premium pay for Sundays and Bank Holidays. Highest rates in the West of Ireland.
