GOLDEN YEARS, located at Darndale Belcamp Vil, Dublin 17, is offering a developmental opportunity for a Care Assistant. Accredited training will be provided to support your career within the service.

You will work under the Senior Centre Manager, promoting the centre's aims, providing member support, planning activities, and contributing to outreach. Strong reliability and willingness to engage with the community are valued.

Formación

• No experience required; accredited training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Promote the aims and objectives of Golden Years under the direction of the Senior Centre Manager.
• Report to the CEO on all aspects of Golden Years.
• Carry out duties as a Care Assistant within the service.
• Provide support to members through visitation and outreach.
• Organise activities and social functions.
• Assist with toileting and bathing as needed for members.
• Provide help during mealtimes.
• Set up activities and greet members and visitors.
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements.
• Drive the wheelchair accessible van safely when applicable.
• Assist in mounting/demounting the van for wheelchair users.
• Handle telephone and administrative duties for the service.
• Provide information and support to members and maintain confidentiality.
