Job summary

MyHomecare in Rathmines, Ireland, is hiring carers to provide 1:1 in-home care based on individual care plans. You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and promote dignity and independence while respecting client wishes.

We welcome QQI Level 5 candidates or those studying related care courses. A driving licence, good English, Garda Vetting, and references are required. Weekly pay, flexible shifts, and career progression await.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Major Award completed.
• At least 1 work placement experience.
• Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship provided).
• Good English communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting (covered by MyHomecare).
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle required for some roles.
• Ability to provide two reference contacts.

Pay & Benefits

€14.15 per hour - Monday to Saturday
Up to €21 per hour - Sundays, nights, and bank holidays
(Rates are set based on shift type.)

Requirements

Fully Qualified:

• QQI Level 5 Major Award completed
  At least 1 work placement experience

Studying (Option 1):

• Studying Care Skills & Care of Older Person (to be completed within 11 months)
  Minimum 2 years relevant experience

Studying (Option 2):

• Enrolled in full QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support
  At least 1 work placement experience

Additional Requirements:
