Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is seeking caring Health Care Assistants to provide personal and practical care in clients' homes across Co Louth, including Dundalk and surrounding areas.

Earn €14.15–€17.00 per hour with flexible full-time or part-time opportunities, paid induction and training, and ongoing personal and professional development. Join a supportive local team dedicated to improving quality of life in the community.

Qualifications

• Must have completed or be studying QQI Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Older Person modules.
• Current People Moving and Handling certificate not required at application stage; training provided.

Applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland.

Qualifications and Training Requirements

Applicants must have completed, or be currently studying towards, the following QQI Level 5 modules:

• Care Skills

• Care of the Older Person

Students currently completing these modules are encouraged to apply.

A current People Moving and Handling certificate is not required at the application stage, as the necessary training can be provided.

International Police Clearance will be required where applicable.

As a Health Care Assistant, you will:

• Provide companionship and social support

• Treat every client with dignity, privacy and respect

• Report concerns, incidents or changes in a client’s condition to management
