Job summary

We are seeking caring, reliable, and motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will provide high-quality personal care and support to service users, helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and independence in a safe and respectful environment.

Location: Nationwide, Ireland. Salary: €28,696.20 -€34,000. Eligibility to work in Ireland and permit requirements apply; prior experience and QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support preferred. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare or caring role is necessary.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• English (B1-Intermediate).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent.
• Some employers may provide training for candidates with experience.
• Manual handling and patient moving & handling training.
• CPR or First Aid certification.
• Qualified driver as position may involve travel

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Support service users with mobility and daily living activities.
• Help prepare meals and assist with feeding where required.
• Monitor and report any changes in the service user’s condition.
• Promote a positive, person-centred approach to care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
• Work closely with nurses, families, and other healthcare professionals.
