Job summary

The Hermitage Clinic in Lucan, Co. Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology department on a fixed term/permanent basis.

The role delivers high-quality cardiology services, including ECG, stress testing, and monitoring of pacemakers/defibrillators, within a busy private hospital. You will contribute to clinical workflow, maintain accurate records, participate in training, and support the Lab Manager in service development while ensuring patient confidentiality and

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Measurement or equivalent.
• Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement.
• Minimum three years experience in busy Cardiology department with pacing and Cath Lab or echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret ECG and Stress tests.
• Monitor BP, Holter, and understand pacemakers/defibrillators and echocardiography.
• Assist in Catheterisation Laboratory procedures under supervision.
• Maintain accurate storage and filing of clinical reports.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and safe use.
• Contribute to planning and development of resources to ensure an efficient service.
• Record mishaps, complaints and defects and report findings as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients and multi-disciplinary team.
