Job summary

BYD Wexford is recruiting a Car Valetor / General Operative to join our busy dealership. You will prepare vehicles for handover, wash and detail cars, and help maintain a professional, clean showroom and service area.

Ideal candidates will hold a full clean driver's licence and be able to work well in a team while communicating clearly. The role offers on-the-job training and a supportive team environment within a growing automotive business.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full clean driver's licence.
• Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Capable of using initiative and working independently when needed.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, busy dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cars for handover to sales and aftersales customers.
• Wash and clean vehicles with specialised tools and products.
• Polish and wax exteriors to restore shine and protection.
• Vacuum and detail the interior including upholstery and dashboard.
• Clean and shine wheels, tyres and rims.
• Inspect vehicles with Sales/Service staff before handover.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and monitor stock of cleaning materials.
