Smokey’s Café on the University of Galway campus is seeking a full-time Cafe Assistant / Barista for the 2026/2027 academic year, starting November 2026. The role involves serving customers, coffee and food prep, till operation, and ensuring HACCP standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining high service levels and flexible, sociable hours with daytime shifts, on-site parking, and staff meals. University campus context and busy, student-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment.
