Suir Engineering Ltd is seeking a Cad Technician to join our Estimation department at our Head Office in Waterford, Ireland. The role focuses on producing accurate technical drawings and documentation, collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and design teams.

As a leading provider of Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation engineering solutions, Suir Engineering serves diverse sectors with international projects across Ireland, the U.K., Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an AutoCAD Technician in construction, engineering, manufacturing or related industry.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret engineering and construction drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of materials and fabrication methods is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare drawings from design information, specifications and project requirements.
• Update and amend drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with standards and specifications.
• Work closely with engineers, designers and project teams.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control.
• Assist with the preparation of construction and as-built drawings.
• Review drawings for discrepancies or design issues.
• Ensure all documentation is maintained to a high standard.
