Job summary

Jacquet in Ireland is seeking a CAD Programmer to support cutting operations using 2D AutoCAD and Lantek software. You'll create flat patterns for water jet, plasma cutting, and ensure accurate nesting and inventory control.

You will communicate with sales, operators and management about schedules, changes, and quality concerns, maintain records, and assist with month-end inventory reporting. A high school diploma and 1 year AutoCAD 2D experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in AutoCAD 2D.
• Familiarity with Lantek software.
• Ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Create flat patterns for water jet and plasma cutting and account for tolerances.
• Inventory control and accuracy, including use of rems.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Provide check drawings to operators for quality control after parts are cut.
• Communicate daily schedules, problems, and opportunities.
