Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to lead backend development in a fully remote role serving the Irish market. You will own end-to-end design and delivery of high-concurrency payment systems in a fintech environment.

You'll work with a small, autonomous engineering team, shaping architecture, optimizing latency, and collaborating with client integration partners across Ireland and beyond. 6+ years of production C++ experience required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial C++ development experience in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of multi-threaded programming, high-concurrency systems, and REST API design.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and writing optimized SQL.

Responsibilities

• Take Ownership: Direct backend projects from initial system design straight through to deployment.
• Build Payment Systems: Develop and optimize high-concurrency, low-latency applications supporting global payment networks.
