Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer for a fully remote role based in Ireland. You will own backend initiatives end-to-end and build low-latency payment systems within a fintech context, collaborating across a lean team to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on C++ software development experience in production environments.
• Strong background in multi-threaded programming, high-concurrency architecture, and REST API design.
• Solid experience with relational databases and performance-tuned SQL.

Responsibilities

• Take Ownership: Lead backend software initiatives end-to-end from design to deployment.
• Build Payment Systems: Design, engineer, and maintain low-latency, high-concurrency applications powering international payment rails.
• Ship Greenfield Code: Build brand-new systems and features using C++, Golang, PHP, and HTML.
• Collaborate: Work with engineers, support leads, and external partners to solve complex technical problems.
