Job summary

Sanderson in Dublin is seeking a Business Decarbonisation Support Executive to help businesses reduce energy costs and carbon emissions through sustainability programmes and grant processes. Based in Dublin on a hybrid basis, this 12-month contract offers the opportunity to work across SME and industry sectors, building relationships with consultants and partners while delivering measurable energy savings.

Qualifications

• Degree level (minimum Level 8/9) in Engineering, Science, Business or Social Science.
• Min 3 years’ work experience in energy or business-related roles.
• Strong project management and knowledge of business process development.
• Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including report writing and public speaking.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Power BI.
• Experience in sustainable energy and/or SME/Industry sector.

In this key role you will support businesses reduce energy costs and carbon emissions and manage sustainability support programmes, review applications, engage with businesses and help deliver energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects for them.

Responsibilities

• Support businesses implementing energy efficiency and sustainability projects.

What you will have and bring:

• Degree level (a min Level 8 or 9) in Engineering, Science, Business or Social Science.
• Min 3 years’ work experience in energy or business-related roles (postgraduates too).
• Strong project management and knowledge of business process development.
• Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships int/external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (i.e. report writing, presenting and public speaking)
• Can communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong IT skills including proficiency with MS Excel and Power BI.
• Experience working in sustainable energy and/or with the SME or Industry sector
